Kiely Skips provide skips to households and businesses across Birmingham and Solihull. They only have licenses to serve certain areas.

Marketing isn’t just a black and white process. We would like to share with you a story about one of our clients. Initially, we had only provided Kiely’s with a website to promote their business online.

After having made a positive impact with the site we proposed that we look at improving the platform by giving them a USP which will allow end-users to have a better user experience and allow the selection of the products to be quick and provide relevant information.

The 3 step Booking System

Through consultation, we agreed on a quick 3 step booking process to allow people to book a skip easily.

1) Postcode Element

We designed a new platform with a postcode element to improve the web experience. The first step upon booking is to enter a postcode at which point the system confirms whether a skip can be delivered to your address or not.

2) Choose the Skip Size

The second step is to choose the size of skip that the user requires.

3) Where is the skip to be kept?

The final bit of information needed is where the skip is going to be placed as in some areas a permit needs to be paid for if the skip is to be on the road or public highway. The system was designed to add the permit charge to the basket if required.

Kiely Skips really benefitted from this new system and the marketing. At peak demand weeks they have had to make dates unavailable due to all their skips being booked out.
